FIELD GUIDE / READ & USE
MAGU Field Guide
How to read and use MAGU, built for altcoin traders. You can't watch every token 24/7. MAGU watches on-chain and perp activity across the board, and pings you the moment it catches an early sign of a pump or dump.
⏱ ~6 min read / Smoother if you know FR, OI, whales, liquidations
THE 30-SECOND VERSION
- MAGU watches for early signs of pumps and dumps 24/7 and pings your Telegram.
- To read "might fall," look at 🟡 Downside risk. 🟠 Danger is "choppiness" and carries no direction.
- Read alerts by color: blue = up-leaning / red = down-leaning. The answer-check shows hits and misses.
🩸
The altcoin reality
Why an early heads-up matters
Altcoin books are thin. The moment big holders step out, the liquidity is already gone. And you can't watch every token around the clock.
01
You notice too lateA dump plays out in minutes. By the time it hits your feed, it's the bottom.
02
Real or not?Whether a pump is a pre-loaded move or just heat isn't visible from the order book.
03
You can't cover it allWhile you sleep, work, or watch another chart, something moves on a token you weren't watching.
MAGU fills those three gaps as a second pair of eyes. It doesn't decide your trades. It helps you notice changes sooner.
🔭
The two vantage points MAGU reads
On-chain × perps, combined
MAGU doesn't just watch the price chart. It layers two different vantage points to score a token's state.
Eye 1 / On-chain whale activity
Whether large holdings are concentrated, or whether big holders are starting to distribute (offload). The coin movement that happens off the order book.
Who holds how much, and where they moved it.
Eye 2 / Perp-market overheating
Whether the perp side is leaning too far into over-bought or over-sold leverage. How much fuel for a sharp unwind (liquidation) has built up.
Positioning skew and how hot it runs.

Combined → scored into Danger, Downside risk, Upside
Note: the exact data sources, indicators and thresholds MAGU uses are not disclosed. This only explains the idea of what it looks at.
📊
Not misreading the meters
Mix these up and you misread
A card carries four meters, with exchange in / out and a 10-day chart below them. What each one measures is written up in the manual. This page covers only the misreadings that cost people the most.
📖 The definitions live here The manual — "
STEP 1: Start with the four bars", "
STEP 1.2: The lower half of the card", and the
glossary.
Numbers, labels and thresholds are authoritative there, and this page
does not repeat them — writing the same thing twice is how one copy quietly goes stale.
READING EXAMPLE
For example, a card showing Danger 72, Downside risk 58 and futures leaning to the sell side reads as → "a choppy token, down-leaning, and selling is actually showing up" (values are illustrative). The trick: don't jump to "it'll crash" from Danger 72 alone.
⚠ The distinction that matters most "Danger / Volatility" is how choppy it is, not which way. In past data, when danger was high the price often went up instead. The meter that reads "looks like it may fall" is 🟡 Downside risk. Don't conflate the two.
🧬
Structural vs Overheated
Same "looks risky," different aftermath
When downside risk rises, is it big holders "closing up shop" (offloading), or just "party heat"? MAGU tells these apart. For altcoin positioning, it's the single most useful split.
Structural (whale offload)
distribution
Big holders are quietly finishing handing out coins. Supply builds up off the book.
→ Tends to keep falling
Overheated (heat-only rise)
blowoff
Running on over-bought heat, with thin backing underneath.
→ Tends to bounce back
WHERE THIS SPLIT HELPS
Same "high downside risk," but with structural (closing up shop) a bounce is hard to count on, while with overheated (party heat) it often snaps back at least once. That changes how you picture what comes next. The card also shows this lean (whale offload / still room up / overheated & unclear / neutral).
Note: these are tendencies, not guarantees. Near the boundary the read can flip.
🪜
The signal ladder
Lower down = higher alert level
MAGU sends a few types of alert. The basic read is blue = up-leaning / red = down-leaning. The names have an Evangelion flavor, but the meaning is simple (glossary in the manual).
UP-LEAN
🦁 BEASTOverheated, but seen as still having room to rise. A momentum signal.
Right after it lights up it's a "candidate" (watch); if it holds, it "confirms."
PRIME
⚡ AWAKENEDOn top of a surge, it's confirmed that whales were loading up beforehand. Pre-loading + surge = the prime signal.
Marked in gold, treated as a class of its own.
REVERSAL
🚨 INTERCEPT Lv1-3A confirmation that price is turning down from a top. Higher Lv means higher confidence (Lv3 strongest).
A confirmation of the turn to the downside.
PRE-STAGE
💥 PRE-BERSERKA whale sell-prep signal lights up. If a reversal stacks on top, it escalates to BERSERK.
The stage before a crash. Raise your guard.
TOP LEVEL
🔥 BERSERKThe top-level warning, with every crash trigger lined up. The same pattern as past big collapses.
Shows the highest downside-risk state.

11:41
Based on a live notification (token name hidden). 🐶 = candidate (watching); survive 30 minutes and the 🦁 CONFIRMED alert follows. If it dies first, the answer-check lands right then. The 🟧🟥 chips at the top are the states currently lit, below them are the four meters, and the bottom block is price action.
HOW A READ FLOWS (EXAMPLE)
- You spot a surging token → ⚡ AWAKENED fires → you can size up "maybe a real move whales pre-loaded."
- You're holding and 🚨 INTERCEPT Lv2 fires → you notice early "a turn-down from the top just got confirmed."
Note: what you do next is your call. MAGU's job is to make you notice sooner.
💡 You set how loud it is If it feels noisy, raise INTERCEPT to "from Lv2" or "Lv3 only" so weaker signals go quiet (setup is in
Getting Started, STEP 3).
✅
The answer-check (its biggest edge)
It doesn't just fire and forget
Most alert tools fire and forget. MAGU reports, honestly and after the fact, whether the signal was right or wrong. So you can judge "is this actually useful" with your own eyes.
🔚 How to read the closing (answer-check) alert
When a signal ends, you get its duration and the move since the alert (whichever of SINCE ALERT / MAX / LASTED could be measured). Hits and misses arrive in exactly the same shape.

Based on live notifications (token name hidden). Up-leaning signals get the same answer-check, and the ones MAGU gets wrong arrive too (for example: a candidate that dies inside 30 minutes with the price moving the other way). None of this promises future results.
The more these answer-checks stack up, the clearer it gets which signals work for your tokens and your timeframe. The track record stays in your hands.
🧭
Folding it into your workflow
A tool to notice, not to decide
MAGU won't decide trades for you. It fits best where it fills the gaps you can't watch.
- To extend your watchlist. Let MAGU pick up changes outside the handful of tokens you're glued to.
- For the hours you can't watch. Get rising downside risk or a reversal confirmation in Telegram, even while asleep or at work.
- As a first-pass "is it real" screen. When you spot a surge, use it to gauge AWAKENED (pre-load + surge) versus an overheated, hollow pump.
- To measure your own fit. Use the answer-checks to learn which signals and timeframes suit your style.
Straight talk. MAGU's signals are high-confidence heads-ups, not trade instructions. Entries, take-profit, stops and position size are always yours to decide by your own rules. Nothing here guarantees a move up or down (NFA / DYOR).
🚫
What MAGU won't do
So expectations line up
- It won't hand you copy-trade calls. It won't say "buy here / sell here."
- It won't predict the future. Scores and signals are confidence, not a guarantee.
- It won't inflate. Missed signals show up in the answer-check as they are.
- It won't hype. No "guaranteed," no "get rich" talk.
If you've been burned before, this line probably lands. MAGU is here to make your own judgment faster and wider.
❓
Trader FAQ
Common questions
How is this different from other alert bots?
Two things. (1) What it reads: not just price, but on-chain whale activity (concentration / distribution) layered with perp overheating. (2) The answer-check: it doesn't fire and forget; it reports how each signal turned out, with duration and percent move. Misses aren't hidden.
Can I use it for scalping / day trading?
Alerts arrive the moment a token's state changes, so they work as a short-timeframe heads-up too. But MAGU won't dictate entry timing on any timeframe. Use the answer-check track record to judge for yourself which timeframes work for you.
High danger = short it right away?
No. Danger / Volatility is magnitude, not direction. In past data, high danger often coincided with the price going up. For "looks down-leaning," read 🟡 Downside risk instead. And even that is not a trade instruction (NFA / DYOR).
Why the Evangelion-style names?
They fit the world of the product. The substance is ordinary trading concepts, mapped in the
glossary in the manual. No need to be put off by the names.
Should I turn on every alert?
Start with all on, and if it feels noisy, raise INTERCEPT's Lv or turn off BEAST candidates to quiet it down. Setup is in
Getting Started, STEP 3.
